Nikki Garcia Expresses Interest in Facing AEW Star
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia, formerly known as Nikki Bella, retired in 2018 due to neck and spine injuries. She made a brief return at WWE Royal Rumble 2022 and, in 2023, departed from WWE alongside her sister Brie after their contracts expired.
On a recent episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, AEW star Britt Baker appeared as a guest. Nikki shared how much she misses wrestling and the thrill of performing for the audience. She then revealed that she would consider coming out of retirement for a chance to wrestle Britt Baker.
Britt Baker: You don’t have to miss it. The opportunity is here. If you want to wrestle again, I’m available.
Nikki Garcia: I would come out of retirement for you.
Britt Baker: That would be amazing.
Nikki Garcia: My goal is to make a comeback in a few years…
Britt Baker: I’m ready whenever you are.
Garcia had previously expressed interest in working with AEW, particularly after Mercedes Moné joined the promotion earlier this year.
