Booker T Announced As SmackDown General Manager By McMahon

At tonight’s live SmackDown event in Indianapolis, Mr. McMahon confirmed the speculation of a new SmackDown General Manager – that man is Booker T. This confirms what was first indicated by WWE’s Breaking News mobile alert service earlier Tuesday.

The six-time World Champion has been a staple voice on the show since finding his place at the SmackDown announce table in February 2011. This exciting development comes just twenty four hours after Raw’s GM, AJ Lee, took the reins of Monday night.
