Vince McMahon Thoughts About Wrestlemania 28
- Updated: February 27, 2012
VINCE McMahon has pinned high hopes on Wrestlemania 28 and has gone on record saying that he believes the PPV will do the best business in history when looking at “all measurements”. Vince was speaking to WWE investors today during a conference call today to report the Q4 and 2011 year-end earnings.
Continuing on Wrestlemania, Vince said that he hopes fans will continue their interest over to Wrestlemania 29 and that WM29 will top WM28. He also said that the long-term goal is to use former and top stars to “spotlight new, emerging stars.”
For WM28, The Rock and Chris Jericho have both returned for respective matches against John Cena and CM Punk. It will be interesting to see the lineup for WM29, especially considering The Rock has already confirmed he will be a part of the wrestling mega-event in New Jersey next year.
