Del Rio Earns a World Title Shot, Johnny Keeps Teddy Around, Tag Titles

- Alberto Del Rio will be getting a World Heavyweight Title shot soon after defeating Sheamus by DQ on Friday’s SmackDown. No word yet if the match will take place at Extreme Rules. Others in line, but not announced, for a title shot against Sheamus include Christian and Daniel Bryan.

- After being relieved of his duty as General Manager of SmackDown, Teddy Long is being kept around in the storylines as the new lackey to John Laurinaitis.

- WWE’s website has an article up looking at potential contenders for WWE Tag Team Champions Primo and Epico. Some of the teams listed are Alex Riley & Mason Ryan, The Miz & David Otunga and Brodus Clay & Santino Marella.
