New NXT wrestler Lio Rush ruffled some feathers after tweeting a joke in bad taste in response to the news of Emma’s WWE release over the weekend.
The tweet, which has now been deleted, read: “I guess these are the things that happen when you’re not TRULY ready for @WWEAsuka.”
Several NXT and WWE Superstars would go on to react to Rush’s above tweet, prompting Rush to issue another tweet apologizing for his comments.
Wow, kid. Didn’t you just get here? Professionalism goes a long way.

Apologising because people didn't like your joke, not for joking about someone losing their job. Also, try the English classes at the PC. https://t.co/tZnaDzqB5K
