The man behind the greatest entrance music in wrestling history has left WWE after more than 30 years working for the company.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, longtime composer Jim Johnston parted ways with WWE after his contract expired.

Word of his departure broke on Twitter on Thursday and sources with direct knowledge have now confirmed the rumors as accurate.

Johnston was responsible for the themes of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, D-Generation X, Ultimate Warrior, The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Vince McMahon, Randy Orton, Mankind and countless other WWE Superstars.

In recent times, most WWE Superstar’s theme songs have been written or performed by John Alicastro and Mike Lauri, known collectively as CFO$. The duo is behind the themes of Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sasha Banks, Samoa Joe and more.
